About Beat Archivist

A love letter to music history, wrapped in a game.

The Story

I'm a melomane - someone who truly loves listening to music. All genres, all eras. I've always been fascinated by music trivia: when songs came out, how they connect to each other, and the stories behind the hits.

Beat Archivist was born from family road trips. My wife, my son, and I wanted a music game we could play together in the car - something that would let us enjoy good tunes while challenging each other's knowledge. We couldn't find what we were looking for, so I built it.

With over 200 songs spanning 6 decades, Beat Archivist covers everything from classic rock anthems to modern pop hits. Whether you grew up with vinyl or streaming, there's something here for everyone.
